NOA
NOA was born out of the gathering of the pianist, composer and arranger
Izio Gross with Airto Moreira’s group, 4th World, during their
tour around South Africa with singer Flora Purim.
With the participation of 4th World’s musicians, bass player
Denis Lalouette and south-African drummer Vusi Khumalo, Izio recorded
his own works and other important Brazilian and international composers
‘ works.
The highlights are “Pastoriana”, a tribute to Jaco Pastorius;
“Leblon”, celebrating the famous Rio de Janeiro’s
beach and “Muito Obrigado Flô” (Thank you very much
Flo) a tribute to the singer Flora Purim.
