Totally
excellent bossa album from 1965! The obscure Jongo Trio were a Brazilian
group that mixed bossa rhythms with jazzy vocal harmonies - in a
style that was similar to the more famous Tamba Trio. This rare
album from 1965 is a killer batch of tracks with a soaring jazzy
feel, and a nice raw recording sound thats in the tradition
of our favorite bossa albums. Plus, the CD also includes some bonus
tracks, making the whole thing the sort of cool little treasure
we love to stock! Titles include Terra de Ninguém,
Deus Brasileiro, Menino das Laranjas.......
Nice one!
The Jongo Trio LP reappears in a CD with the rhythmic
strenght and vocals that turned it into a sensation in 1965!
