I give classes
at ULM Tom Jobim ( School of Music “Tom Jobim” São
Paulo/SP, Brazil ), and over there I´ve met Bira Marques,
a “Baiano” ( who´s born in the state of Bahia , Brazil ),
and a master of the music of Bahia . We played together for some
time and through him I knew that Ogã is the name given to
the percussionists that play in Candomblé (Afro- Brazilian
Religion). I thought that name had a lot to with me, because my
aim is to be an Ogã of the Universal Music.
